The State of Israel is born.

So titelte die Palestine Post ( heute Jerusalem Post ) im Mai 1948, als der dem Königreich Judäa vor über 2000 Jahren von den römischen Besatzern aufgezwungene Name Palästina noch kein Etikettenschwindel für eine frei erfundene Identität war , sondern das bezeichnete, was es bis heute ist —– das historische Homeland des jüdischen Volkes.

That was the headline the Jewish nation has been waiting for so long !!!!

Today Israel is strong, democratic, prosperous. And I have no doubt that in the coming years, Israel will continue to thrive, be strong and prosperous.
Our story is a story of hope, not just for the Jewish people, but for all of humanity.
We persevered through adversity against all odds.
Anyone fighting for a just cause, fighting against seemingly insurmountable odds, could draw inspiration from our story.
